On the weekend Marley got our sponsored skater friends Charlie Young and Will Harmon, my model friend Nugget who I normally do my modeling with, my popstar girlfriend Lele Speaks and myself to do a photo shoot for some german trainer mag that had beef with Nike(? I know...) and talk about our favourite trainers (as long as they aint Nike). Im so big time now I just show up, point the camera at me, take my picture, I dont even know what its for, whatever. For me, Cage's first full length "Movies For The Blind" is his best. I liked his latest "Depart From Me". I didnt love it, but I thought it was cool. I really respect and have love for any artist that follows their heart and takes risks. You could kinda tell after he dropped "Hells Winter" that Cage was moving in a new direction. Thats why I was stoked when he announced he was working on a new project that is the "evil" MFTB style stuff he left behind before he dropped "Hells Winter". I dont know if he will drop a traditional sounding rap album. or if the lyrics will go back to the sick type shit instead of emo and the new musical style will remain. who knows? Im looking forward to it either way.

Joe Weapon loves fighting games. He picked this up for the Wii and I have to say its fucking banging. It plays more like Marvel vs Capcom then a standard Street Fighter game. The graphics are similar to SF 4 in the way its 3D 2D (if you feel me?) but its Cell Animated or whatever. Like how Wind Waker was on the GameCube. It looks amazing, it makes you wish that the Wii was in HD though. The controls are a little funny, but its cool once you get used to it. Its like, there are no kick or punch buttons just weak, medium and strong attack. If its a kick or punch all depends on the move. If you like 1 on 1 fighting games and own a Wii, I think this is pretty much your only option. Luckily its sick as fuck.

Shit just keeps ending. I was sad to hear that after a decade of solid dope-ness, El-P is pulling the plug on Def Jux. This is sad to me because not only was it home to some of my favourite artists, released some of my all time favourite albums (including my favourite record of all time), it was one of the only labels left that really gave a fuck about quality music and pushing HipHop forward. El-P has always been at the forefront of the indie rap movement. I think the fact he has decided to turn the record label in says alot. The times have changed my friends.

Inspecta Deck is on bare tracks and Ghostface Killahs name is on the cover like the original purple tape. This album has been years in the making and you can tell. Its honestly the closest your getting to the old school Wu albums. No weak bars, all the beats bang. My favourite track is the Necro produced one. Its cool seeing Necro and Dr. Dre both credited in the same inlay. Definitely go and get this. The saga continues...

We went to see Lady Gaga on the first night we were there. Leles mate Gary Go got us on the guest list. Gary was opening up for Gaga. Lady Gaga talked about cock a lot, the old slag.
